Savannah

I love taking photos whenever I am in Savannah. It is a beautiful, magical, haunted place, full of gorgeous architecture and dark history. On my most recent trip I focused not only on the grand homes and scenic parks I have often photographed, but I spent extra time in the back alleys and on the side streets, looking closely at windows, doorways, cobblestones, telephone wires, and all of the small details that are so full of atmosphere.

Fall in Connecticut

In October we drove up to Litchfield County, Connecticut for a weekend of small New England towns, fresh air and fall foliage. We left daydreaming about leaving the city behind and getting a saltbox house somewhere off Route 7, near the banks of the Housatonic river..
